The Toitū te Waiora Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Education, Health and Community Industry Skills Board will pick up its functions.

Proposed minor changes to Unit Standard 33286 – Provide physical health support to people experiencing mental health challenges or addiction issues (Level 4, 10 credits, Version 1)

Due to a request from a provider, Toitū te Waiora will make a minor change to the range statement in Performance Criterion 1.1. of unit standard 33286. This change involves removing the term ‘‘behavioural risks’ from the range statement of Performance Criterion 1.1:
