Liz Polley Early Childhood Education National Industry Advisory Group Member Senior Academic Staff Member Open Polytechnic/Te Pūkenga I have worked in ECE for more than 30 years in various roles from Kaiako to professional development and started at the Open Polytechnic|Te Pūkenga in 2018, my role being a Senior Academic Staff Member. I support ākonga enrolled in the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and NZ Diploma in ECE and Care in the Wairarapa and Remutaka regions. I have a Master’s in Education, a Postgrad in ECE Leadership, a Bachelor of Education (ECE) and a Diploma in ECE. I am dedicated to advocating for the sector and addressing what skills our ākonga need to be successful Kaiako. I want to bring my knowledge and experience to NIAG, supporting the sector by enhancing vocational education and training.
