Toitū te Waiora received a request from Te Pūkenga to extend the Last Date for Assessment (‘LDA’) for qualification Versions in the 12 qualifications listed below. Extending the LDA for these Versions to 31 December 2025 will ensure that ākonga are not disadvantaged during Te Pūkenga’s unification process. Currently the LDA for the qualification Versions listed below are either 31 December 2023 or 31 December 2024. The intention is that they will be extended to 31 December 2025.

An application to extend the Last Date of Assessment for qualification 2779 (New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Advanced Support) (Version 2), was made to NZQA as above.
Following discussion between TTW and NZQA, it was withdrawn from the application due to the Last Date of Entry having already been passed. Therefore, the Last Date of Assessment for 2779 remains as is – 31 December 2023.
