National Industry Advisory Groups

National Industry Advisory Groups (NIAG’s) are a collective of voices from the sector that advocate for their sector’s needs, provide advice towards the qualification reviews, discuss the trends and challenges of their workforce, provide guidance, data and insights and most importantly have a passion to ensure the workforce will be sustainable for the future.

Our National Industry Advisory Groups are responsible for:

• Providing advice and feedback on the strategic direction, trends, investment advice and performance within their sector.
• Providing advice on the current and future skills and knowledge requirements their workforce requires of their sector, to inform the development and maintenance of quality, and fit for purpose qualifications
• Supporting with the coordination of activities to improve performance within the industry
• Advocating and promoting industry training within their sector
