Consultation on Draft Consent and Moderation Requirements

Consultation on the draft Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) closed on Friday 4 April 2025.  We would like to thank everyone for their feedback, comments and questions.

The following is a summary of the survey responses:

• Thirty five responses were recevied from 34 organisations
• Tertiary Education Organsiations represented 53% of the responses, and 47% were from industry sector organisations
• Several responses included feedback on more than one sector.
• 50% for Adult Education and Training
• 47% for First Aid and/or Emergency Services
• 17% for Occupational Health and Safety
• 8% for Early Childhood
• 11% with no feedback on the appendices
• 55% were satisfied with the draft document.

Next Steps

1. The CMR document will be finalised and a change report created for submission to NZQA.
2. It is expected that a “request for further information” process will undertaken.
3. The change report and CMR will be approved and published by NZQA.
