Toitū te Waiora is pleased to announce that NZQA have approved a new unit standard to support assessment of the Health of the older person – Kaiāwhina-led non-complex support plan review micro-credential.

This unit standard enables providers to assess the development of non-complex support plans with tangata/older persons living at home in the community.

Why was this unit standard developed?

Due to time constraints in 2024, the micro-credential was approved by NZQA without a unit or skill standard available for assessment.
