NZ Diploma in Health and Wellbeing up for review

We are seeking input for the review of the New Zealand Diploma in Health and Wellbeing (Practice/Applied Practice) (Level 5) [3244]

This review will be informed by engagement through communication and feedback from the sector, research, current legislation, and practice frameworks. It will follow the guidelines outlined in the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.

We expect that it will be completed by end of Sept 2022.

Workers, employers, industry and professions’ representatives, programme providers, people being supported in the community, health and social services sectors, and any interested individuals are invited to complete a survey on the New Zealand Diploma in Health and Wellbeing.

Your response to this survey will help to ensure that the reviewed qualification meets the current and future needs of the sector.

Click here to complete the survey, which closes on 30th June 2022.

Face to face

If you would like the opportunity to discuss your thoughts on the qualification review in person, please email [email protected] to arrange a time.

We value your input and are aware of how difficult the current COVID-19 climate is for everyone working in the community, health, education, and social service sectors.

It will be ideal to meet kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) to review this qualification, however, much of the review is likely to be conducted online. Any decision to meet kanohi ki te kanohi will be driven by the Ministry of Health guidelines.
