Sara Goff is the Industry Engagement Lead (Community) in the Partnership and Engagement team and is based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.

Sara has been working in vocational education for near on a decade, previously working as a Workplace Advisor at the Industry Training Organisation Careerforce. Sara is passionate about giving people the opportunity to develop their skills and gain qualifications. Prior to entering the vocational education sector Sara worked as a public servant in both New Zealand and abroad. She has worked across a number of different sectors and held a number of roles from policy through to continuous improvement. She is always looking at how things can be done differently to meet changing needs.

Sara joined Toitū te Waiora in October 2021. She is excited to be part of a team that will support the transformation of the vocational education system so that the workforces we support have better outcomes and experiences.

Sara is keen to see an equitable vocational education system where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
