Wayne Glen is the Industry Engagement Lead (Māori) in the Partnership and Engagement team. He is of Ngāti Porou and Ngāti Raukawa decent, and is based in Pōneke, Wellington.

Wayne has been working in vocational education for over 10 years, previously working as Kaiwhakahaere Māori at Open Polytechnic and then Kaitautoko in the Partnerships and Equity team at Te Pūkenga head office before joining Toitū te Waiora. He is excited at the prospect of working with Māori to succeed as Māori in the transformation of our sectors to produce skilled workers in industries of high need for Māori.

Wayne joined Toitū te Waiora in October 2022 and is looking forward to being part of the newly established Partnership & Engagement team and contributing to a much stronger voice for pākihi Māori and iwi development.
