Toitū te Waiora Community, Health, Education and Social Services Workforce Development Council is undertaking public consultation on the draft of a new standard developed for the Mental Health and Addiction Support domain.

The proposed standard draft can be viewed here.

The standard was developed following a request by and in consultation with Careerforce te toi pūkenga and Te Pou, the national workforce centre for mental health, addiction, and disability in New Zealand. The standard covers provision of physical health support to people experiencing mental health challenges or addiction issues.
