All qualifications listed on the New Zealand qualifications framework must undergo regular review to make sure they still meet the training needs for workforces in the relevant sector or industry.
Last year we completed a review of the seven other health and wellbeing qualifications. This public health and health promotion qualification is the final one in the suite scheduled for review.
The recent COVID19 global pandemic may have exposed workforce training gaps or highlighted opportunities for workforce skills and knowledge that were previously not considered. Now is the time to address those gaps and opportunities.
