Tony was appointed the Industry Engagement Manager in November 2023. He’s of Samoan, Ngati Te Rei/Ngati Puati, Cook Island, and Irish descent and is based in Auckland Tamaki Makaurau. He has over 20 years of experience working in education, business, government health sector, not for profit and NGO space. He is an engagement practitioner who brings a strong background of experience in connecting people and communities with opportunities in a collaborative and inspiring way. Tony is responsible for leading a strong team of Industry Engagement Leads, with a Bachelor of Applied Business Management & Diploma of Adult Education. He also draws on his international coaching experience to create and nurture a high performing team that is well supported, resilient and empowered to make meaningful change for our industries, vocational partners and communities.
