Toitū te Waiora is proposing the rollover of the unit standards listed above.

The unit standards in the table above are used to assess learner achievement in the current Youth Work Programme (Level 4) offered by Careerforce Te Toi Pūkenga, leading to version 2 of the New Zealand Certificate in Youth Work (Level 4) (Ref: 2449). The last date for assessment for programmes leading to version 2 of this qualification is 31 December 2025.

Earlier versions of the standards are being used in Careerforce’s Programme. Extending the last date for assessment of these earlier versions allows their end of life to coincide with the last date for assessment of version 2 of the qualification.

Therefore, Toitū te Waiora is proposing that the last date for assessment against earlier versions of the Youth Development standards listed above are extended to 2025 to align with the last date for assessment for programmes leading to version 2 of the NZ Certificate in Youth Work (Level 4) (Ref: 2449).

Toitū te Waiora welcomes any feedback about the proposed revisions until 30 June 2023. Email us at [email protected].
